Product Description

PLEASE NOTE - This product has been upgraded to a 10 pack of adhesive stars.  The picture only shows 6 of the stars.

These pre-cut, thermally conductive, electrically isolating, pressure sensitive adhesive pads are precision cut to fit the 20mm Star metal core pcb used for our assembled Cree XP, XML XR and MCE Leds. Made from BERGQUIST pressure sensitive adhesive tape, these pre-cut pads makes it easy to fasten the Star base directly to a heat sink without the need for screws or messy compounds and adhesives.

No mess of thermal paste or grease, just a "sticker" to make your life easier

  • great thermal management

Great product the only downside is separating the two sides from the adhesive is a little tricky. A safety pin is the most valuable tool for this and the solderless leds.

  • Thermal Pads

I made a little jig to line up the pad to the LED Star, now I just remove one side of the pad, sticky side up. and slide it over two pegs, then slide the LED over the same pegs and press down, they are ready to place on to the heat sink....This makes a very fast and neat way to fix your LEDs to your fixture.....I will be using these on all my future LED builds. .Great idea...

  • So far so good

I dont have long term experience with this product. But I really liked how clean it made my build look. The plastic pieces are bit of a pain to remove ans it would be good if both were clear.

  • Great time and mess saver

Easy to use, I do suggest sticking them to the star first then use an exacto knife to aid in peeling the back film off. Great heat exchange to the heatsink.
