I just receive my heatsink 36 inch in france and the quality of extruction is good. The price is correct. When I received it I did not pay tax. It's the best from market, in France I could not find similar products at this price. I definitely recommend this kit .
Thank you to allow people to be shipped around the world

Thick aluminum, clean lines.
I am impressed at the quality for the price i will use these heatsinks for all my future builds.

I just received my 36 inch heat sink and the quality of the extrusion is superb with a nice anodized finish. Nuts slide in easily and the The end cuts are very smooth with only one very small piece of flashing to be removed from a channel. The unit is surprisingly heavy until you look at the thickness of the extrusion which speaks to solidity.
The only problem is that, despite the nice box used for shipping rough handling in transit bent the lower corners in making the end caps impossible to install without some metal surgery which marred the finish slightly.
I would suggest making some strong plastic end caps or else thick foam molded to shape with end pieces and middle pieces though this would increase the size of the box and probably the shipping cost which is not inconsiderable for me as an expat.
One thing that I would love to see is an option for temperature controlled PWM fans with a power supply. I have ordered some PWM ball bearing fans and an eBay Arduino Uno to build my own but i would have been happy to pay extra for this from the manufacturers.

From the images, and I guess just my mental image of the unit, I envisioned something more like 2 inches tall by 4 inches wide, and very light. Instead I got a huge bulky mass of aluminium, almost 10lbs and more like 4 inches tall by 7 inches wide. Not at all slim profile I wanted over my tank. Turns out I wasted +150CAD for a 24" unit, that i'm not gonna use. Building a custom acrylic unit similar in style to the Radion's instead.
The system looks great, and if you know what you're getting, and expect it, it could be a great unit, its just not what I thought it was, and is not at all what I'm looking for.

You absolutely cannot beat this heatsink for the buck! I have two of the 6" sinks over my nano. The are packed with LEDs and don't even get warm. I recently purchased another to have over my new frag tank. Good quality.

Did a lot of research before hand and this is defiantly the best on the market

I looked at a lot of other heat sinks available on the market before I finally pulled the trigger on the 72" Makers Heat sink kit. I'm glad I did. No other manufacturer offers a heat sink kit this long with 6 cooling fans and associated led mounting hardware included. Assembly was easy, thanks to having all the needed parts within easy reach. The provided fans are high quality and nearly silent in their operation. I definitely recommend this kit to anyone who's looking for a quality kit.

This product really goes a long way towards allowing DIYers to create professional-looking, robust and durable LED enclosures. I've used it for multiple projects and keep coming back to it when new ideas arise :-)

Well what can I say this heat sink is probably the best thing I have bought for my LEDs, it's cool to touch and the led stars are cool as a result so the lifespan and output will remain good. I'm running over 60 LEDs on the 18'' kit so I'm very happy
