495nm is Turquoise that should be used small amounts on a tank as it will quickly over power other colors if not mixed with 660nm Deep Red and 455nm Royal Blue. When mixed with the Deep Red and Royal Blue, all 3 colors will display a "White" light but still bring out fluorescent pigments found in corals. The Turuiose is going to bring out oranges and reds.
This wavelength is almost a green color and is currently experimental. The idea behind this wavelength is to fill the missing gap needed to bring out certain colors like reds and oranges in a standard Neutral White + Royal Blue combo.
Please note you do not need additional optics for these LEDs as they come with the optic of your choice.
Best driver to use for these (6-14 LEDs) is a 40w 700mA Inventroincs driver tuned down to about 500ma using a POT. If you need help choosing a driver, feel free to contact us.

Used these with the Red. Nice color. Added them to my Royal Blu/Cool White to encourage SPS growth. I am seeing better growth (More upwards than outwards) On a 10 gal tank I use 4 of these paired with the Red with 90 degree lens at about 11 inches off the water along with 9 Royal blue and 6 Cool white 3w leds with 80 degree optics, and two of the 3-up ocean whites.

I've to agree with the other reviewer, these have some really nice cyan color. Nowadays Luxeon,Avago, Nichia all make their high power cyan LEDs emit light around 505nm, which doesn't look cyan but a boring green in my opinion. These are noticably bluer!
Specs I found on the package:
495-500nm(bin-1)
80-90 lm
3.2-3.6 V
I_f 700mA
Note that the flux at 700mA is less compared to the cyan rebels but so is the price, so I can't really complain.

Very nice LEDs - most blue of turquose/cyan out there!
